    94 4.3 with 4l60e to 5.3 with 4l60e

hi there all, i'm new here. i've been trying to do some research on doing this swap and this site has come up a lot, and a few times over on my other forum, 67-72chevytrucks.com. so i know that there are certain parts that i am gonna need like harness, mounts, pump, radiator and accessories and what not. that's not what i'm after. what i've been trying to figure out is how to tie a 5.3 harness with a tbi harness. and so far no luck. what i would like to get is a schematic or two showing what needs to go where. yes i'm feeling brave enough to try this myself, but not brave enough to use the one that's already in the truck. so the plan is to get a oem tbi and 5.3 harness either from ebay or from a junkyard. so does anyone have the schematics and know what wires need to go, which ones need to get spliced, ect. any help would be awesome thanks!

Call Nelson Performance, they can build your harness and all you have to do is swap engines and hook up the wiring

675.00 is for their harness, or 850 with a tuned ECM and the harness.

    its a 12v wire/ignition wire/ground/fuel pump/speedo/tach

i just did the same swap in my 94 chevy with a 2008 5.3/2006 4L60E

that doesn't seem too terribly bad. was the 850 with an ecu core charge? well i think i found a 6.0 with tranny on CL. i sent the guy an offer. just waiting for a response. might try to give him a call at work tomorrow. more than likely my offer will get turned down but i shot an offer anyway.

well it looks like i'm gonna have to wait til october unless i find an lsx here in Washington for less than $800. man up here in washington if someone is selling an lsx they ask an arm, leg and first born. one guy on CL wanted $700 for a 140k mi 5.3 that didn't have the harness, computer and pretty sure no accessories as well. all it came with was the intake and a torque converter. i found another that has 150k mi that the guy wanted $1000 for and at least it came with a harness and computer and i think all the accessories. but man everyone wants alot for those things here. if its a 6.0 for get about it. the cheapest one i found the guy wanted $1500 for both the engine and tranny that was under 60k mi. if i had the $1500 i would have gone for it
