A thread topic on another forum was a discussion about what cams to get and passing emissions in California.
Some guy with an 87 blazer with 200k miles mixed 2 gallons of de-natured alcohol with 4 to 5 gallons of gasoline to pass emissions. Said it was no different than MEK and what not, and it its harmless on the motor as long as you dont mash the gas. Once you pass emissions, go fill the tank with premium to raise the diluted octane rating.
I don't plan on doing this b/c I don't have any engine mods, I'm just curious as to how this works, and how it would work on a NBS GM truck, or any highly-modded NBS GM sports car/truck
Thanks
