    Excellent Tire Alert

So today I got some Hankook Ventus ST's on my truck in 275/60/17, they are a middle priced performance tire. All I can say is wow, these things are awesome, they replaced Grabber UHP's which I could smoke into 2nd, these new ones I only get a chirp. Anyway here is a road I use to test everything I own and do
Horning's Mills, Melancthon, ON to Terra Nova, Mulmur, ON - Google Maps

If you cant tell from the picture it is a very fast, tight twisty road. I was pushing and pushing and could barely get a noise from them, I ran out of nerve before I ran out of tire

They must be amazing tires. I was very impressed with my 245 (narrower than stock) UHPs, if these are better they are worth every cent.

What did you pay per tire on those bad boys Devin?

I got a quote for some Kumho Ecsta STX in 285/60-18 for $710 OTD and Im gonna be calling a couple more places to get some more dollarz off . I like that price and the people Ive talked to who have had them say they are great tires.

OUCH! Coming from a set of Kumho Ecsta STXs to a set of Hankook Ventus AS RH07 is like night and day. The Hankooks are a better tire in every way. I paid $592 mounted and balanced for a set of 4 275/55-20 I wouldn't even consider the Kumhos again...

Really I don't think much of them because everyone that we have had blow
outs. I work for the state and every new Ford van we get in has them and its just a matter of time before they blow out, but this is the tires that come from the factory so I'm sure Ford has a contract with them to build the cheapiest crap they can. These are one ton trucks and vans going across the state but its not even hot and the Goodyears we replace them with have no problems.
