    Lift question

    I am wanting to lift my 04 Silverado 2WD. Right now I have a daystar 2" level on the front, but am wanting to raise it more. I was thinking Fabtech 3" spindles up front a blocks on the rear leafs. Will I need to put extended brake lines or anything else on? Also, If I do the spindles, will I need to take the daystart level off?
    2010 Silverado ECSB LS 4x4. Only mods so far are a K&N drop in filter and a Rough Country 2" front level kit

    if you get a good kit it should come with relocation brackes. u just pull the lines down. i have a 6 in on my 2000 4x4 and didn't put longer brake lines on it till a year later. didn;t need them, but just wanted to get rid of the spounge brake pedal. i have heard of ppl puttin thoses keys on with the lift but i don;t like them. like i alway say if you got 20 grand to spend on a truck, u should be able to aford a decent lift. not to bash anyone. i know that a lift put more ware and tare on a front end but thoes lift keys put alot more presure on the front end. IMO get rid of them if u have to chose. plus a softer ride!!!

    i dont think the 2wd has torsions bars? think he has coil springs in front, so his daystar lift is either a coil or strut spacer.

    As far as using two lifts in combo, you would have to check your ball joint angles etc after lifting it to see if everything will still work correctly and not grenade. Also consider if you will be able to get a proper alignment after lifting.

    The only thing bad about lift keys is the sharper angles on axels.. It isn't no rougher on the torsions bars tho. The only reason it rides rougher is cause a-arms are more straight up and down... thus a bump on the road goes more directly into the frame without moving getting as much wheel travel. Did some force diagrams in physics just for this one day.

    Correct. I do not have torsion bars. It's coil over and the spacer goes under the springs.
