    Shop press

Anybody using the 20 ton or 12 ton press from harbor freight.
Looking for some feedback... is the 12 big enough or should I spring for the 20?
Is this brand good enough for occasional use, not complete junk?

lol i had the 6ton for one day, and it did not have enough power to pop the barrel off an AK. so i returned it and got that 12 ton one

I'll probably go ahead and get the bigger 20 ton one. Future proof it. I will mainly use it for u-joints, bearings, ball joints a-arm bushings and I do need something for rifles occasionally. I'm sure my dad will use it a lot and he works on tractors a lot. The bigger one might come in handy.

if you ever wanted to build a 40 ton they are pretty easy to construct, we have one at work that we built ourselves. It will bend a 2''x4''x12'' long steel bar. If you need a translation, it dangerous and will throw things a long long way and through cinderblock walls. but work great
