    DBW vs DBC

    Which is better, or is there difference.

    i like dbc, so imo, it's better.

    peeps like drive by cable because it seems to be more responsive, also when your foot is on the floor you know your throttle is all the way open, this is just what ive gathered from these types of questions before. I myself have DBW but have driven both and dont really notice any difference, but ive also been able to scan my truck and see that when my pedal is on the floor im at 99-100% throttle, i think its mainly just preference, id say id prolly like to have DBC just for the cool factor when i pop my hood i can reach over and give it some revs

    +2 on the DBC.

    When deciding which way to go in my truck, I insisted it had to be DBC.
    My experience with the old 6.5TD trucks that had the DB4 pumped DBW setups soured me.
    You can't truly appreceiate DBC until you've tried to park a CC Dually on a busy street during rush hour with a "twitchy" DBW setup. When they get some age on them, they develop a mind of their own!
    Can't imagine the newer LS stuff would be much different.....
