I am getting ready to take the LS-1 and 4L60E out of my Blazer K5 project and put it into this 94 Crew cab that I am working on. I am putting the newer 95-up dash in it and have a nice 95 Suburban engine harness that I have went thru and eliminated alot of the unnecessary wiring.

I installed the other motor and transmission myself but the newer trucks have a little more wiring to full with. I am also planning to use the stock A/C set-up on this install. My Blazer project was a full time "convertible" so I didnt really see the need for a/c.

Here's what I have a few questions regarding:

1. On the 1995 engine harness, which ignition wire do you guys think I should splice into for the IGN source on the aftermarket harness that I have? The one that went to the distributor? I believe this is the one I used on my 1981 K5 install.

2. Is it a big deal to wire up the factory dash tach, fuel gauge, and speedometer on a 1995 truck dash?

3. What wiring from the original engine/AC harness do I need to save for the air conditioning componenets to work right? I plan to use the stock Camaro LS1 compressor in its stock location unless I find another way to do it alot cheaper than $300 and look factory-ish.
