When I tune trucks, I'm sometimes surprised to find that some trucks should have it, but don't.
The vin usually indicates what engine, but it's not always the truth.

I've seen some weird things with the latest body style.
I would think it would have it.

I think the exhaust is right at 3.25" diameter

Who is "they?" If it never says anything on your info center about "V8 Mode" or not, it probably doesn't have it....

the denalis dont have the 4 banger ode deal thing...

as far as i know they all have VVT, but i guess like Allen said some might not... who knows.

and the exhaust pipe is not exactly 3.25, i think its probably a metric size cause i know its somewhere in between 2 standard sizes, but i cant recall what they are...

Zach, I just did a basic search, and most people are saying the 6.2L Denali trucks have the VVT. But I would not bet on it...

Go to a GM dealership and have them print out a vehicle inquiry sheet based on your VIN. It will give you all RPO codes, and what they all mean, including the engine code that actually came in your truck. That engine code should be able to tell you if it's VVT or not, and you'll have a bunch of sweet info on your truck!
GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT RICER MATH!
