I own a 2002 chevy trailblazer 4x4 with the I6. I went to San Antonio Raceway last night and got some realy good results. I did take out the passenger side headlight and grill for ram air. All runs were done in 4awd and launched at 2400-2600rpm The first run i got 16.2 at 88 mph. Then i got a 16.1 at 88.xx. Im not sure if something is wrong with my 4awd but it was engaging late (usually it sense the rear slip a lil then engage the front, maybe its just mine). I then lowerd the tire pressure to 22psi in the rear. Next Pass was 15.93 @88, then a 15.84@88, then a 15.79@89. My 60fts were from 2.4 to 2.3. My tb weight was 4725lbs. Im pretty satisfied with my times for the mods i have, which are dual intake, with a custom exhaust(bullet muffler dumped at the rear axle). Went from a 16.9 stock to a 15.79 with 2 mods, now only if there are any more mods avaible. Any feedback would be appreciate.

I didn't know there was a performance enthusiast in sa with a tblazer.

Congrats on the times, that sounds very respectable from a 6banger, hell for a v8!

Post up when you go out again, we'll have to get a few guys together, I missed the last one.

    later,

I love my tblazer. The only reason i bought it was i thought it would be a perfect platform for lsx style engine. You never know though how far i can push the I6 engine its uncharted territory. Since GM did the twin turbo tblazer and the gains they saw as well as the baja trailblazer they borred out to 5.0L makin in excess of 500hp N/A has got me thinkin.
One question for you allen is can u tune the I6 with the Megasquirt2. If this can be done i can guarantee you alotta of customers from mychevytruck.com site.
