    FAST: LSXRT™ 102mm Manifold

ok so FAST finally came out with a intake for us truck guys that is a direct bolt on. You use your truck fuel rails. And for us DBW TB buys, Nick Williams makes a big mouth electric Tb with the harness adapter for $550. Things are getting better every year for the GM truck. They show impressive gains over any other intake out there. Reason i am looking into this is, i was going to get an edelbrock proflow and with some research those babies dont like nitrous and have nitrous backfire like the old lt1 cars. The FAST looks very very promising, just a tad expensive! I really want one tho. im looking for input from you guys. LMK

I'd use this manifold if I had an extra grand laying around. As for Edelbrock.......I would advise NOT buying anything Edelbrock. In my experience, their so called bolt-ons DO NOT bolt on cuz they never fit. Ask Jason (Midnight Rider) about Edelbrock products as well.

I would. It may be pricey but just by lookin at it I can tell it will flow VERY well, especially with forced induction.

not the truck intake, installed it this pass weekend, doing some wiring harness clean up and waiting on 3 bolts i need then i'll be ready to get it tuned..

both the car style and the truck style has been out for like 1.5 months think the car came out first then the truck right behind it

nothing concrete, more less a preference, personally i would think the car intake would perform better at a higher rpm range, and gain more on the top end, i know it takes torque get our trucks moving but i can afford to loose some lowend torque ( not alot but some ) and my goal is to gain more up top which is where i need it right now.after talking to fast and thunder racing and tsp they pretty much told me i should see a very nice gain up top without loosing any torque, but dunno we'll have to waite and see.sometime in the spring i'll be pulling my heads and having the pistons decked, which i can do here at work for al ittle more gain, then have another cam spected to match everything back up..
