Quick 6.0 Swap Question

I have found a 2003 6L from a 1500HD 4wd truck to replace a 4.3L in a 2000 2wd truck.

Just wondering if the frame and motor mounts would be compatable, I wouldn't think so considering it's 4wd.

Also would I have any problems mounting a T56 from a 99 Fbody to it? I have heard that there are problems with 99-2001(2) 6L's and t-56's not coming together properly.

i think the motor mounts are the same but u will need the frame mounts from a 1500(non-HD) v8 2wd truck

yep, you need the mounts from a 1500 V8. As far as the engine itself, there won't be any issue between a 4wd and 2wd.

and the issue you are talking about with the T56 won't affect you with a 2003 engine.

99-2000 with iron heads/long crank. Stay away from those and you will be cool. Some late 2000s have aluminum heads and short crank.
