    cat, and rear o2 delete

    if i take out the cats and the rear o2 censors will a nelson tune be able to make a program to turn off the check engine light, and will it be able to pass inspection with the tune

    Do they do a visual inspection for cats in tx? they still do it here in CT even on OBDII cars

    nelson can delete the rear o2s if need be. i would leave the o2 sensors connected just have him turn them off. if you remove the cats it might be tough to get inspected all cities are different like where i live they dont do a sniffer test but may do a visual.. but then again i slide the guy an extra 10 and go on my way

    it depends on where you go for the inspection. Most places dont but some will. I went to Jiffy Lube in Cedar Park and all they did was an OBD test and fuel pressure test.

    yes... they will click a few boxes and the pcm wont cel it..

    fwiw, i'd leave the cats on (unless theyre clogged) till you've figured out what you want, you may want your stock y intact one day
