    5.3 bottom end

    Im going to be adding LT,s and cam pretty soon and wanted to know what kind of horse power a 5.3 bottom end would be able to handle.
    2004 5.3l, Vortech sc, #43 injectors, level 4 FLT 4l60E, Yank 3200 stall, magnaflow exhaust,K&N CAI, Tuned by LG Motorsports, 2/4 Drop, and 20" Chip foose rims.

    a lot.
    people are camming, turbo charging, supercharging, Nitrous, twin turbos on these 5.3s
    a guy on pt.net is pushing over 500 with his 5.3

    Thats good to know I have 391 rwhp right now and I was hoping to see around 500 with lts and cam.

    dang! 391rwhp... id like my WT to have that, but i dont wanna SC it lol.
    im sure you'll see some good number with the LTs an a cam. 430+ maybe

    I was thinking with the LTs and ORY I thought that I could see around 420 with just that, but I could be wrong still a newb.

    im a new at it too. but ive never seen anyone gain 30rwhp with just LTs an OR-y but then again i dont pay attention to the S/C trucks. i think you'll be around 420-450rwhp after everything. what muffler are you running? what gears? are you dynotuned?

    Yea it has been dyno tuned but they still used the predator programmer and just changed the files on it its a magnaflow muffler and im running 342 gears I really want to get my truck down to san antonio and take it to nelson.

    you ought to change your gears to 3.73

    Yea I would love to change my gears but I drive 65 miles to work and back home every day in it. I would hate for my gas mileage to drop even more than it already is
