What would you consider hard...are ya pretty mechanically inclined? Understand cams and all the calculations it takes to get a "variable" for possible Power enrichments values. Understanding fuel trims and the impact of inputing one value on one screen and effecting 10 other things. Its not rocket science...okay maybe pretty damn close, but you'll be okay if you are mechanically inclined. I have LS1Edit. Everybody who messes with the stuff has their own opinions. Goto WWW.LS1TUNING.COM if you are really serious and read a couple of threads of what they are up to and what tuning is really about...from a bystanders point of view that is. Just my opinion.I wish I would of went there before I bought Ls1edit, not to say I still wouldn't of done bought it...just been more aware.

My belief is a dyno tune is the absolute best way to go. If you have the time, know-how and patience to do it yourself then go for it. Personally, I'd probably kill my engine if I tried. Jim, the guy that tuned my truck uses HP Tuners, he likes it over LS1Edit for his own reasons (been tuning 14 years). Lots of guys tune their own so it can be done. If you have ?'s just post 'em and they'll reply with hands-on answers and suggestions.
