Ok here is my question. I have a set of edelbrock ceramic coated shorty headers. They were on my O3 Sierra 5.3 and they made a nice difference. Nothing night and day but nice. How much of a difference do you guys think they will make on my 04 Denali. Just curious being that it is 325/375 vs. 285/325 hp/tg I am trying to decide whether to install them or sell them. Thanks

if you arent going to install long tubes or mid length then i would put them on. or sell them and put on some long tubes.

I would like to install long tubes however i am still under warranty. Actually i only have 2900 miles on the truck.... If i do long tubes then in order for me to switch it back for warranty work i must change the whole exhaust. With the short tubes i can just unbolt them and put the maniflolds back on. I am just wondering if the gains on the short tubes with my new 6.0 will make them worth keeping or if i should just sell them.

Gains with shorty headers are from around 4000rpm to the shift point... I can tell you this from first hand experience. Sound is improved also, looks under hood are better, and the motor will run a bit cooler (temps under hood are decreased).

So if they're free... run them...
