    So if I understand this all correctly, sorry for my ignorance to all this LS1 stuff and our trucks im new to all this and thats why im here trying to learn as much as i can!! For the most part every thing in this book will apply to our trucks!! Correct

    YES, the same rules apply to the GenIII truck engines.

    Got the book its GREAT!!....wish there was a little more examples for the trucks but it did teach me alot about the development of the GEN III, They do talk a little bit about the 5.3 and 6.0 for perfromance mods, they only talk about the LS6 cam for the 5.3 but they give you some dyno info with the LS6 cam..........I just wish that somebody would make a book just for trucks!!
