Thread: tranny cooler and shift kit?

    tranny cooler and shift kit?

    Well I just bought a circle d stage 2 3400 converter. I know I need a cooler and im gonna get a transgo hd 2 to help this tranny live alittle longer.LOL!!
    But the ? is will a B&M 24000GVW cooler work? Or is there a certain one I need? Also where should it be located? 1 more i plan on getting a tranny temp guage too where should it be installed and will any one from summit work?

    ^^^that one should work well, if you have a stock cooler than itll be right behind the grill.

    Here's one a little cheaper...

    TRANSMISSION COOLER HD 40,000 GVW TOW TOWING TRU-COOL:eBay Motors (item 120390737450 end time Sep-07-09 16:36:22 PDT)

    The 24,000 would work but with that stall I would get the 40k and not worry about it again. As far as a trans temp guage, you can get a SS/HD cluster that has one in it or an Aeroforce Interceptor Scan Guage.

    congrats on the verter and id go with the ss or HD gauges just make sure u dont get D-MAX gauges as for the trans cooler idk much about them

    The Denali and Escalade has trans temp too.

    Yes, get the 40K.
