    Thumbs up Funny, read this>>

What's up everyone! I was coming home from work today and ended up lining up at a red light next to a 01' RCSB yellow sierra with a 4.8 . It had a 2/4 drop and a young guy was driving. He looked at my truck and threw me a rev, i just chuckled. The light turned green and he rolled slow to show off his exhaust , I rolled slow as well and laid rubber shifting from 1-2 just cruising!!!!! He met me at the next light again and said "holy crap, WTF you got in there?? " I laughed and told him I got a 5.3 with a couple of bolt ons. He also told me that when he saw the SS emblems on my truck he thought twice about racing me . He asked me if i had a shift kit and i laughed and told him no. I got Nelson Performance tuning. He asked me what that was and I briefly explained. So Allen, if your reading this I gave him your business card and he will be calling very soon . There you go, another plug for you . Shit, I almost feel like your personal sales rep.

    I love it, hahahah

Your truck looks pretty good to begin with, now that you shift like that, it makes it that much more intimidating, hehehe

Again, thanks for the referral, that's exactly the kind of rep i want on the forum.
I'll be waiting for his call, those trucks really wake up with a little bit of tuning.

Have you taken it to the track yet since i tuned it? i'm curious to see how much it dropped you.

Also, any progress on the tranny upgrades?

    have fun,

    allen

I am not going to run the truck at the track until i have the tech at work rebuild the tranny , I also need to send you back my pcm because of the 1-2nd shift reving too high. I need to drop the 1-2nd down 2 mph and the 2-3rd down 1mph. that should be right on. The power drops down while the engine is about to shift. After that minor retune it should be perfect. The tranny tech told me to baby the tranny because if i go race the truck and blow up the tranny then the service dept. will have to put a certa(new stock tranny from GM) in it, and i certainly DONT want that. Rather have him rebuild the current one with high performance parts than run another stock pile of shit! Yeah, that guy has one of your cards now and told me he will be recommending you to his friends who also own ls1 trucks. Keep up the good work and I will also let you know when I will send my pcm . Thanks!
