    I'd rather free base without a chute than do shingles.....i was down to my last 2 fingernails on my right hand before i quit........

    i hate roofing, i've done it a couple of times, it's gotta be one of the worst jobs for me. i like doing electrical work now thats my cup of tea.

    I did single ply for about 4 years.. Would only go back to that as a last resort.. Only because its too hard on the knees doing the hot air welding and I was always doing alot of the detailing..
    5.3, small cam, 918 springs, 7.4 rods, walboro pump, Full built 4l60, 2800-3000 stall, TB spacer, long tubes, cat delete, single 3" exhaust with Aero bullit muffler. Flaco tuned.

    What kind of roofing?shingles,epdm,hot ,metal .Ive done and do em all ,hate it with a passion.but then again im almost 40 with arthritis everywere,from doing this kind of work .when i was young I didnt care what kind of work it was long as i was making money.But you get alittle brittle as you get older,legs,knees,back,shoulders,all start doing crap on ya and aching for three days after a roof .Thats why i now have many young employees to do the grunt work.AAAAH the good old days.Ya im having a hard time accepting the age thing .but anyway ,what kind ya doing?

    I did a roof about a year ago... that game! it was pretty good pay for the job though.
