    Corvette???? Sierra???? plz help

    well i was putting together my new project truck and i came across a couple of question i wanna ask

    will the wheel bearing from a vette fit a 05 Sierra?
    and also will the corvette calipers fit it? i dont think so but its worth n ask
    if yall know plz let me know

    and well you can kinda see the direction im going in wit the truck by the questions

    Ive seen the calipers on our trucks but they take some fabbing. And no the bearings are not the same. We have 6 lug and a vette is only 5 lug.

    yes i know thatz why im considering turnin it from 6 to 5 lug by changing the bearingg so i can run the z06 wheels on it
    but im still not sure

    As much as i hate saying it...but i'd lookin into a set of GOOD adapters to go from 6 to 5, before i looked at changing bearings.
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    Plus that might help a lot with the offset differences. I think. Sure someone else will chime in to clarify.

    Ok yes you can put Z06 calipers on you need a custom bracket PM Supersub on PT.net. With you having the Quadrasteer i wouldnt eff with any of that stuff. Plus you need the strength of the 6 lug. They make replica vette wheels.

    (my suggestion was only due to fact he said 05, and his quadra is an 03)

    if you get good adapters with right strength bolts, 5 lugs should be fine. ford or dodge (can't remember which) still only use 5.

    i heard somewhere that regular z06 wheels cannot support the weight of a truck...forgot where but I'm pretty confident that is a fact

    oh no im not doing this on my quadrasteer im lookin into buying another sierra an 05 i love that front

    well i kno a company who makes replicas i talked o the guy n he said he can make em for me just as long as i leave a deposit ofcourse he said any wheel configuration i wanted could be made he said 20s or 22s or staggered fit or pretty much anything and the price could be negotiable
