    ripped off

so my brother has the crome stock wheels on his lightning. he lets his gf drive his truck and she crashes into a curb and damages 2 of the wheels, but they are fixable. so at this time he decides to get them fixed and powder coated black. he brings it to a shop and they quote him about 500 bucks for repair and powder. he agrees and they begin the work. they call him and say we tried powder coating them twice didnt work out looked really bad we are going to have to paint them. so my brother agrees and says just do it. they people deliver his truck to him and give him a bill of 1,200 dollars. the rims have dripp marks everywhere in them and look really sloppy. they charged him 35 dollars per wheel to pant the little center plastic cap. and when they drove it home they hammered on they truck and it isnt running right at all anymore. it can barley idle and shutteres hard when you take off. so now it looks like hes going to have a law suit on his hands and a truck to fix. i hate sketchy businesses.

Have your brother post up the name of the shop and his story (on as many forums as he can). Make sure everything is factual, take out the emotion, and include pics if he has them...I bet he will get some sort of resolution from the shop then. Nothing works like bad press...

Hence why I am the only one who works on my vehicles. Some people just have no respect. People like that need a good old curb stopping!

Why would he leave the entire truck instead of just the rims. When you have a performance truck you have to be more carefull. Hope he get's it fixed.
