    Fuel Pump ?

On my Cousins 98 Tahoe which has a fuel cell in the back,(so it can lay frame) the fuel pump will shut off while ideling. Then will when it it does shut off it will not come back on again unless you unplug the pump and plug it back in......Can anyone explain this?

Sometimes it will kick on when trning the key off but not when turning the key one......I find this wierd.

There is something in the electrical that is tripping a safety switch to shut it off. It may be that a ground wire or other wire is not connected properly.
