    I guess I need a 4l80E now...

I broke the first one when the rear end blew out, bought a stock one with stock converter, it went out 3 months later. I had the first one rebuilt 3 times now, none of which has lasted over 200 miles, now it has done it again.. So it happened 4 times in about 5-6 weeks !!!!!!!!

I just need to find a stock one for now after I make my trip to Seattle.. That or I am going to put a stock 60e and sell the truck...

The 60e has put the hurt on many a guys quest for speed in a truck. I finally gave up on them. I'm on my second 80e, hoping that the first was a bum unit or I screwed up doing the trango kit. Even hurt it still worked. I had no real idea there was anything wrong with it. Just found a few chunks in the pan working on a leak and put the spare in till I can go through it.

    T-56 swap

yours is 2wd - goes in quite nicely
00 FRC - just top end, exhaust, and a hot-air intake
    99 Sierra - 5.3 / 5spd
↓ click the pic for the build ↓

I actually like the idea, just dont know if I am willing to do that yet.. I have other things than keeps paying for stuff on this truck when I am wanting to other things like paint and body work.. I might just put a stock trans while I find a t-56 and do all of that...

A stock 60e isnt going to hold a modded 5.3 for very long bro. You haft to upgrade. I had mine completely gone through and had every lil thing upgraded. Has held close to 10k so far. When it goes out Im going to look into Finish line. I advise the same for you.

It hasnt seen the 100shot many times. Maybe 4 times at most. With a good builder they will hold up for a good while though.
