    Any doctors in the house?

Going to get my shoulder checked out soon. I already know my R.cuff is torn. I can take my shoulder out of joint toward the back on command. The arthritis finally set up in it about a year ago and has completely killed off my freedom of movement at his point. Doing anything demanding will leave me in pain for days afterwards. Doc said I needed surgery when this first started being sore almost two years ago.... Being I just started a new job I didnt want to take off yet.
Now to the question. On the end of the collar bone on my left shoulder is a knot... Feels like a calcium deposit. Isnt on my right shoulder and is sore if I touch it. Anyone ever have this?

Probably doesn't help your problem any, but we switched to a memory foam (ComforPedic) mattress and this freaking pinched nerve crap I had going on actually went away. I'm a side sleeper and the other beds we had put too much pressure on my shoulders (what am I 80?). Anyway, for what it's worth...

Could be a trigger point. Go get the surgery and then do the physical therapy. The therapy is very important to get full range of motion back.

ya, DO THE THERAPY if you get surgery. my ex. broke her back and for whatever reason would never do the therapy and anything and everything somewhat physically demanding just killed her....

i use to be a pitcher and had to have my shoulder mri'd all the time.

just having a scope you will be out for a month or more.
surgery will be at least 6 to be fully 100%

the knot you are talking about.... after surgery and therapy if it is still there go to a sports massager.......they will work it out

(disclamier.... i am not a doctor, i speak only from experience. i am not liable for bodily damage or mental damage. in short terms.....its my .02 cents, take it with salt)
