    Drag Radials

Looking at some Hoosier DOT drag radials, Wanted to know if you have to install a driveshaft loop to run them at the track? The ones Im looking at could damn near pass for slicks

I can't say for all tracks, but most of them require it, plus it's just a smart idea incase you blow the front u-joint you don't catapult yourself.

If your running at a track that follows any kind of rules then YES. With Drag slicks you need a hoop within 6'' of the front ujoint.

I think if you're putting any decent amount of power down and racing you should have one, slicks or not.

do it... I didnt and i paid for it. Tranny exploided going down the road, twisted the driveshaft in half. The driveshaft ripped my exhaust to pieces. Just a good idea to have one.... After the way mine went down its TWO under there!
