    quickie question about a/c compressors

Would a 2003 Denali with the LQ4 use the same a/c compressor as a 2000 2500 HD with an LQ4?

I would not think so, considering the Denali prolly has the rear A/C.

The rear AC doesn't matter....that would change the hose design. Off the top of my head I'll say the 03's were the first to have the newer design compressor. The only difference might be the hose connections on the compressor itself. The 03+ might have a different configuration. The trucks were built with Denso, Delco, and other manufacturer's compressors throughout 99-07. You really need the VIN to find out which one you need.
