New Best and needing opinions! (update plz ducky)

Had a decent night at the track. Although VERY disappointed with my new times. Was expecting almost 4 tenths faster AT LEAST. So we will start with a problem that was obvious. Traction. I got none. Pinion angle will be getting fixed asap. The tires were burned out for a while and only ran 13 psi. Still couldnt dead hook off the line. Since it was spinning a lil I also didnt flip the switch on the n2o till was was good and off the line (bout 40-50 ft off the line)
My new problem I am finding is I cannot stall my truck up for crap. My old cam would stall with the 3k that I have up to 2300 sometime higher. The new cam I am running I cant get it to stall to 2000. Is the cam THAT big of a difference on a stall. OR could I be having stall issues?
GIVEN this hasnt happend ( and may never ) If I sprayed off the line with a DEAD hook how much faster could I get?

wait wait. that time is with N20 and mods? tahts horrible

in spring of 05 i had a 75 dry shot of a Zex kit on a stock 5.3, stock stall, stock gears, stock trans. street tires all it had was K&N and flowaster....it ran 13.4@104 with a 1.98 60'

that was launching on motor then hitting it as soon as truck felt solid.

you should be 12s with your mods

as for your problem. with any of my stall vehicles. i never take it past idle. i let the converter flash and always get the best 60'. any time i brake stall it up it would 60 much worse.

I know. I list it a horrible myself.
The cam is made for boost. I am honestly thinking I am not going to see any really good times till I am boosted.
I will try letting the converter flash on my next time at the track. At this point Ill try anything haha. I want 12s. Feel the truck should BE IN 12s. And want to know where aside from coming off the line I am screwin up.

do you have video of you launching?

i doubt the cam is hurting you being spec'd for boost.

the mph isnt right either for power. what shot you hitting it with? my times was with me letting off the spray at 1000' mark cause it was little to lean on big end

how hot was it that day? wont say tune but have you logged the truck to see what is going on with it? just saying i went faster with alot less mods with same truck basically.

a close up video of launch would show where your failing at on launch, also curious to why your mph is so low.

little bit of wheel spin is better then a bog off line. excessive wheel spin mph will drop, just enough will keep the same mph if any raise it 1-3 mph over a hook

It was high 70s last night. Decently comfortable...
No vids. No one had a camera.
Honestly I dont know WHY my mph is so low. SERIOUSLY it fells like and one of my friends noticed. ON the big end my truck just acts like it slacks off. Be running hard at first then just like it decides to slow down. Even under spray.

ive noticed this with my 6.0 and recently noticed this with a buddys 6.7. 1/8 mile both are strong, on street are strong but from 1/8 to 1/4 they flatten out. found to be the fuel pump not being able to keep up with the demand of fuel its required to run the entire 1320

Think this could be my problem as well? I know I dont have the power of those two motors. OR let me as you this. The inline filter. I dont believe its ever been changed. Could there be restriction there?

its very well possible that the filter could be clogged. if your using a wet shot the pump might be at its limit. not every factory vehicle performs the same. your pump might be limted to say 350 rwhp, that guy next to you might be good for 400 rwhp....

start with basics and just do a complete tune up. check for plugs, check gap check fuel supply... borrow a fuel psi guage and see if it holds good psi up top

I put new plugs in yesterday before I left. Tr6 plugs set the gap at .35 Ill change that filter sometime today or tomar and then find a fuel pressure gauge.
