Well my monday sucked...
Yesterday after work me and justin( guy I work with) went out to his house to get his '51 ford show truck and bring it to the shop for some much needed TLC.We got there and he asked me if I wanted to drive it because I never had before.I said yes and we took off,he told me to open it up(hot sbc) so I turned on to highway and matted down.All was well up until the 2-3 shift when the rear tires locked up and sent me into a skid for 180 feet until I left the roadway and started to roll.It rolled 3 complete times coming to a rest on its wheels 220 feet from the road.I was not wearing a seat belt because it didnt have any,and both doors where ripped almost completely off and all but the back window were knocked out.I held on to the steering wheel and didnt fall out until the truck stopped moving.Justin was right behind me and called 911.I was taking by ambulance to hospital where after 2 hours in the ER and multiple CT scans and x-rays they found I had many minor cuts and scrapes, some deep tissue bruising and a partially collapsed lung.I was able to go home that night and am ok other than being really stiff and sore.Heres some pics.
