    ? Torque Converter Choice And Why???

    I Will Be Replaceing My Stock 4l60e W/ Stock Converter With A Flt 4l65e Lvl 5. My Truck Is An Avalanche And Heavy As Hell It It A Daily Driver With A Lq-9 6.0, K&n Intake, Bbk 80mm Tb , Gibson Cat Back, 4.10 Gears ,eaton Posi Unit And Of Coarse A Nelson Tune (a Must). I Was Thinking A Converter Stall Range Of 2300-2500 Just Curious On What Converter Brand Everyone Recomends And Why?

    i own a trans shop and went with a yank after much research ,had it in about a year and half now runs great no problems at all Yank 2600

    i also have a yank. Its a 3200 and i love it.
    2003 RCSS Chevy 5.3L Fully Bolted, Cammed, Yanked, and 342s. Borla Exhaust w/ Electric Cutouts.

    yank is ok unless yur planning on some power later on..they wont handle it

    I have also been told by tranny guys who have taken a Yank apart that they are a stock GM converter with a new Stator..that was the only difference.

    personally I would never run another one.

    I run a TCS (out of Arizona) and love it. I would not run anything else.

    Others have had a lot of luck with PI and Circle D..I have can not speak about those because i have never ran them.

    idk man i make a decent amount of power and i run a yank, idk how much you plan on making but yank has always been my choice, and if you call dave at yank tell him your setup he'll help you out.

    Yeah guys barely runnin 11s like lambo can prolly get away with a yank. Guys makin quite a bit of power are prolly gonna want to go with a better, circle d, ptc, or pi

    i also am running a TCS (The Converter Shop) theres are a billet converter that they custom build for your setup and they also use a faster stator then yank uses which means easier stalling.

    I'm running a fuddle(I know don't laugh). Haha.

    But I've had the 3200 in my truck for about 1 1/2 years. No problems yet.
