    LQ9-flat top pistons=more compression
    LQ4-dished pistons

    There are other minor things but that's the main difference. Older LQ4's had weaker rods but they fixed that in (i think) 04.

    i was just say but in all lq9 is beta than lq4 so spend the money and get the lq9 unless your doin a stoker build or something

    perosnally if youre going NA go with the lq9 if youre thinking forced induction later on then go with the lq4 its just gonna depend on whatcha future plans gonna be
