    Solid axel swap under way soon

    april 15th i take my truck in to get it done.
    1996 gmc ext cab short bed.
    currently running- forged 408 , Kenne bell 2.8 10 psi, 4l80e yank 2800-3000 stall.



    list of suspension mods coming

    Dana 60 High Pinion front axle, Dana 60 rear, Detroit lockers, dual piston caliper conversion, 4:56 gears, coil over front shocks with 4 link, 37" BFG KM2's Mickey Thompson classic 2 wheels.

    ill try to get pics of it as the work progresses.

    i dont think they will have it all done in 2 weeks, realistically it may be more like 6 weeks, they are a small shop and are very busy. im not in a hurry for it anyways, i mean its been 12 years now since ive been wanting to do this lol

    SFA needs 40s min. or it ain't worth it in my opinion

    I have some SS brake lines and a pitman arm that where going to be used for a SAS, forsale. Oh and also have a Lightning that still has never been killed by a Chevy.
    2005 Silverado 4x4, 6" RCD lift, M/T Classic locks on BFG KM2's, 4:56 gears, Air-raid CAI, TB spacer, Nelson tuned, Corvette servos, 160 thermostat, Ebay long tube headers, Flowmaster Delta 40, Cognito Motorsports steering upgrades. 2000 Ford Lightning, 2.3 KB, bolt ons, 7.67 on the 1/8th.

    problem with that is the cost of tires, just jumping from 37 to 38s is a huge price increase.
    37's are like 325.00 a piece, 38's are 465.00 each. the 38's are a couple inches wider which i would love to get but man thats like 2k just for rubber.
