Thread: new edelbrock intake

    new edelbrock intake

    just got a shipment in today and im going to dyno my truck today and maybe by sat. i'll have the new intake ported and installed so i can hit the rollers
    NEW SET UP: HKE 346ci-New times 10.62 @ 131MPH on 16psi
    MD-1750-SE Dyno numbers 708-RWHP 762-RWTQ on 16 psi

    Old set up Stock 5.3L FI cam and XMS front mount turbo kit
    NEW ET 10.82 @ 125 mph 18 psi & 75 shot :-)
    MD-1750-SE New XMS Turbo-cam 656 RWHP 696 RWTQ 14 PSI "Got Boost?"

    Sweet! You going to change cams with that intake or just see how current one does first? Very interested to see how this intake works...

    Which intake did you get?
    The vic jr?
    Or did you splurge on that wicked looking one that they put out that I havent see anyone run yet or get there hands on? I cant remember the name on it. There is a thread up about it somewhere....

    this is the new intake that edelbrock just came out with, its nice. i will post some pics and dyno numbers before and after

    Which intake is on the 346 now? that why we can compare the gains.
    Isnt that intake supposed to be better low end and comparable top end to the fast?
