those springs aren't supposed to be upside down.... (don't think)
that's due to flex/old springs
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
yup that rear spring isn't supposed to do that, yes they are a old set of springs with 2 leafs taken out and the over load turned up side down but its all in trying to get it to crawl over any rock or anything else that gets in the way.
The rear springs are the factory rears out of a 74 chevy c10, the rear suspension is made up of a shackle flip(moves the shackle over the spring instead of under it, which gives ya about 4inches of lift and a heck of a whole lat better flex) with a 6in long shackle, factory 56 in long springs and a zero rate(looks like a lift block but bolts on to the leaf pack by the center pin and has holes drilled in it so you can move the axle 1in or 1.5in or leave it centered).
The front suspension is a home made front spring hanger that is moved forward 2 or 3inches and down 2inches so I can run factory rear springs. The front springs where the original rear springs on my truck and I am also running a 6inch long shackle.
