so my buddy called me to say he found a SSS at the u pull it yard and then want 250 bucks for the motor out of it. i dont think i have ran that fast in my life to my truck spinning tires whole way there lol.

to sadly find out my friend thought this silverado thats been caught on fire was a SS it was a 5.3 . so i got to looking and found some suspects.

one 2000 tahoe 5.3 with the 862 heads. complete they want 350 bucks since its already pulled on a crate.

a 03 or 04 avlance its that cool green/blue color. missing the coilpacks, no idea on milege, they want 250

then i found a 05 silverado, drum brakes, all tore up. motor has 706 heads i believe, thats a 4.8 right? they want 250 for that

then they said 20 bucks a coil pack since they avy motor missing them. i have no idea on any of the miles on these but they had to be driving in order to get in a wreck right.

ya my bad. im horrible with typing and stuff. i know what comes in a SS.

also i found out my uncle bought a rolled over 04 tahoe with a 5.3 but he wants more for the motor so im trying to talk him down to 250 like the yard is charging.. even though i know it runs and has low miles

yea and the 4.8 has flat top pistons well th 5.3 h.o. dose to but thats irrelevant
