    Crank remover and installer tool

hey guys, my crank pulley puller broke, the rod bent after many years of service.
I can't buy just the rod, I already tried buying a 5/16 stainless rod, it bends, can't get 5/16 in hardened rod. anyone have the PN for the GM crank puller.
I'll post a pic if you don't know what it looks like.

also, my threads are messed up on my homemade crank pulley installed. I use a long bolt, washer, etc, to install the crank pulley.

Anyone have the crank pulley installer part number?

    i know you do GasGuzzler.

    thanks,
    allen

Allen, we used a puller from Sears, and it was better than the Kent stuff. It would lock down on the pulley. I'll see if I can find a link.
Here is link if it works. KD Tools Posi Lock 2 Ton 3 Jaw Locking Puller - Model KDS3612 at Sears.com
We did make a little spacer that fit in the hole and used with it though.

Effin A--$92? I guess so... I have broken 3 different $20 pullers on one pulley before. I'd rather pay $100 and have the pulley off on the first try than pay $60 and have it take 3 hours...

In 4 years, we only used the one. We have used impacts on it and pulled hundreds of pullies and it did great.
