    Killed a Duramax

Well he pulls next to me at a stop light this morning and when it turns green he hits it, I was unprepared and casually hit the auto 4wd button and punched it. He was about a car and a half in front of me by then and I flew by him and got about an 1/8 ahead of him before slowing for the next light. He pulls next to me and goes WHAT HAVE YOU GOT IN THAT THING. Light turned green and all I could get out was nothing stock which is not true. My engine is stock except for cam, springs and push rods. It felt really good.
Especially since after serviceing my trans it isnt slipping as bad.
I did find while crawling underneath that my transfer case bolts were loose and a few missing. I promptly had that fixed and the fluid changed and filter along with it. No metal other than normal in the trans pan.

What does that mean? They're solid....I couldn't have ever imagined a 4-valve aluminum head V-8 diesel in a light duty truck 10 years ago....

I'd rather have a Duramax over any other diesal truck. I have driven dodge ford and chevy and much rather drive the duramax.
