    Unhappy Lontubes + Little Magnaflow=:(

As the title says i'm not pleased with the exaust tone. startup and below 3500 is SWEEEET(nice and deep) but once it gets over 3500 it sounds really flappy, it reminds me of 2 inch truedual straight pipe. I REALLY DON'T LIKE IT AT ALL!!
I was wondering if this was because I have a 12inch straight through Magnaflow? Would a good ol Flowmaster 50series fix it or is that just the sound you get with LT's and an ORY?
Thanx for all opinions in advance!

    Shinnanigans......

Try listening to exhaust clips on various forums 06 4.8, thats the only way to find a sound setup that youll like.

one a flowmaster isnt as bad a ppl think. its a chamberd muffler so it will hold back some power on a turbo vehicle

now NA the 2hp difference isnt noticable not to mention thee are many different types of flowmasters. Flowmaster losing you power is an urban legend

any straight thru muffler is going to be raspier then a chamblerd muffler its the nature of the beast. one has packing or holes to muffel sound and other has deflections.

you have a stock ompression, stock cam, stock rpm range, 4.8 with LTs and a straight thru muffler how did you actually think it would sound?

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

Yep....turbo engines might benefit from a straight through but an N/A will usually not "lose" power from a Flowmaster.
