When will college get rid of this system of number crunching and let the teams settle it on the field. How does the #1 team drop to #5 after a 10 point loss in the Nat. Championship game? If they are voted #1 and they lose, shouldn't they back their decesion to put them in the NC game and put them at #2? How does the only undefeated team like Utah finish #2? Florida's loss at home to Ole Miss is far worse than USC's loss at Oregan St.? A playoff would leave NO school with anyone to blame but themselves if they lose. You have playoffs in POP Warner football for heavens sake, High School Football, And in the NFL... every league has playoffs except College. Discuss?

How the hell did Texas get bumped down a spot to #4 and Utah come all the way up to #2 and where did Tech go they arent even in the top 10? I am all for Florida being #1...this is all fubared up!

I think BCS is ridiculous too. The NCAA is basically wanting to make student athletes be "winners". This is college, your gonna have to realize that if your not the best out there, then you will lose.

The media loves Florida and the Timmy Tebow story... and that's what it's all about. The best story is who the media shoves in everyones face 24/7... and they do it in Politics as well but we aren't allowed to talk about that here. Anyways... Yes, the BCS has failed again! USC, Utah, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Boise State, Penn State, Alabama, and Florida all deserved to be in that national championship game. A playoff system would generate MORE money than the current system would, so you have to rule that one out for being the reason not to ditch the BCS. I hope the Utah politician investigates the BCS system and drags into the supreme court to get rid of it.
