    Leaf Springs VS. Bags

    Hey guys,

I was thinking about bagging my truck but i still want to be able to launch hard/have traction. To bag my truck i have to remove my leaf springs and replace them with a 6 link set up. I was wondering if bags would be to soft or if they would be just as good as leaf springs for launches??

I know its a weird question but i just have absolutly no idea and i still want to be able to race my truck at the track.(yes i know some tracks dont allow bagged trucks to race)

    Thanks Brandon

    This is great news,

Any ideas on what hes running? KB or Air Ride Tech? Also what are his track times? I just want to know how hard he launching with the bags. Im running a 13.37 my goal is 11's eventually i just want the bags to be able to handle it and not dip to far.

I know i can always put some stiff shocks on too i guess..

brand i cant say for sure...with a 4.8 he went 7.49 1/8th mile spraying a 225 from a dig...he know has an LS2 in it and still hit the 200 on it and still hooked pretty decent....he just picked up the setup from a friend that had it on his truck and was going to let it go back, i know it will also matter where you place the bags in front over or behind the axles...im not sure the best placement or which size bags to run either....pm DBRODS and ask him for a little help on all of that stuff...also he does install and sells kits

    Hmm,

I know with the KB 6 link the bags will be right behind the axle which i would think would be the best place. But I dont know... Ive also heard that you can get different pressure rated bags, maybe i could get high pressured ones in the rear and low in the front. Im just throwing ideas out there...

I just dont want to go from no show/all go to all show/no go

I will definatly PM DBRODS hanks for all the information.
