Extra OBD II or Can bus Wire From PCM
I am in the process of simplifying my harness and noticed the extra can bus wire that goes to the original 02 Silverado gauges will not be used in my 1985 Silverado. I was wandering if it is the same signal that goes into the OBD II diagnostic connector? My reasoning is I have HP Tuners and i also wanted to use the PLX OBD II gauge but each requires the diagnostic connector could i split the original connector or simply use the Data wire that fed the 02 gauge cluster.
