    Newbie from florida

Hey guys I have a 97 silverado 1500 4x4 that I'm looking to drop a 5.3 or 6.0 into. I have searched this site for over an hour and so far no luck on how to wire up a ls series in this truck. I want to keep it good on fuel but have more power for when I'm pulling my race s10 to the track.

I have electronic 4 wheel drive, I would need to get a hold of a full pinout for my ecm to see if the 4 wheel has anything to do with the ecm or not. That is my only concern with doing this swap.

Welcome! My buddy was the man that actually made the harness to my truck, we'd be more than happy to help with questions about the swap and the wiring.

Welcome. Im sure there is something on here about the wiring...tons of people have done similar swaps so I would assume that there is info on it.
Lets see some pics of the race s-10....what does it have in it?

hopefully I can get all the wiring diagrams of the 4 wheel drive and figure it out from there.

Here's a few pics of the s10. It's got a 388 stroker 13-1 only have one good pass on it so far, broke the trans bell housing the best time so far is a 11.062 @127 mph. It will be back at the track soon installing a jw ultra bell tomorrow.

Welcome to LS1truck! We have tons of info here. Either use that link Skeet gave you or contact Nelson Performance for a wiring harness...
