For those of us who can't make the SAR meet.

I was gonna be there, but landed a new better job and the boss said "no, too many fords are breaking you can't go race your chev", well thats what I heard anyway.

But I know there has been talk of lots of photographers and videographers so I got to thinking that since I can't be there if someone compiled all the picture and video i'd gladly shell out some cash for a DVD, with the money going to the site or a charity or something (not all of it, cover your costs donate the rest). I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this is a halfway decent idea.

    My two cents:

I say everyone who is coming brings a camera. When you're not racing or chatting, shoot some pics. Pics of people, the trucks, some runs, videos, etc.

Then we create an account on Photobucket that we're all PM'd the login name and password to. Then everyone uploads pictures to different folders in that account ("People", "Trucks", "Staging", "Racing", etc.).

Then we can generate html code from ALL of the pictures and post them in a single thread. Then the videos in another. Then we sticky both threads in the meet section.

I know we have our own photo hosting on the site, but sorry, it isn't as user-friendly as Photobucket.

    Thoughts?

(This is all in addition to getting a dedicated videographer & photographer.)
