BTW income tax return is a redistribution of wealth. As well as welfare, social security, sales tax, property tax... in fact any tax is. Everyone seems to think that we will all be making the same paycheck, and drive the same cars, and all wear the same clothes. Nobody proposed that at all.

come on I know a ton of people that get more on the tax return than I do, and they make 1/2 what i do. If you have 7 kids, and no job... you can file for a return and get credit for the kids.
Yep, that's socialism. If there was no income tax, those others would not get a bigger return. Plus returns are factored by not just how much you make, but how much you deduct per pay period. If you had 20% more taken out each check, your return would be bigger. By doing that, you're loaning your money to the fed and they pay you back without interest. Great, huh?
