So I'm going to get lunch at Arby's....pulling through the parking lot but see this early 70's convertible something-or-other with rally's and exhaust and two young victims in the front seat at the McDonalds next door.

Anyway, I see they're getting ready to pull out onto the street and figure stomping a mudhole into someone would be a good way to start the day before going to the races. So I keep going through the parking lot, and we're both pulling out at the same time. I pull in front of him and he moves to the left lane as we come up to a perfectly timed red light.

He pulls up next to me and it's two kids - maybe 20 years old or so. I goose it a little to get their attention and he looks over and smiles and nods. He starts brake-stalling it and makes a huge white cloud so I can't even see him. Sitting there spinning his tires for about 10 seconds or so. I see the light (barely) turn green and just roll out real easy. He let's out of it and comes flying by me as his buddy waves. I think they thought they were winning. I let him get about 3 car lengths up and then open her up. The turbo is gulping in this cool air and I catch him and look over as I'm passing them and the drivers eyes are huge. His buddies eyes are huge too but his mouth is like "OOOOOOH!". Got about three states in front of him, then slowed down. He never sped up til maybe a mile down the road, he finally came up on me. I let him get to my back tires and opened it up again and broke the rear tires loose right in their ears. Looked in my rearview and his buddy was pointing at him laughing...

It was fun.
