    New From Mass.

    Hey guys,

I am new to the site and to trucks in general. About a year ago I picked up a 2000 Silverado 5.3 4x4 and now I have decided its time to mess with it a bit. All I have done so far is a CAI and disappointing flash tuner.

I am torn right now between lifting the truck or dropping it b/c I really like the way either looks just anything but stock(feels like an old man truck).

Performance wise my plans to start are for a tune and exhaust. Then I would really like to get a set of lockers before the winter hits.

Well thats it for now I am sure that I'll be picking your brains in the future.

Welcome to the site. Yeah, ditch the disappointing flash tuner and get a mail order tune.

Welcome! I agree, ditch the flash tuner and get a Nelson Performance tune! As to lifting or lowering...I would say get a lift...but thats just me.

Welcome! Hmmm..what truck is it--and EC or RC? If it were me (and you have a RC), I would go with the drop. Zeake is a member who had done that and his truck looks and runs great!
