Alright........I made the mistake of letting my g/f drive my truck
So as a "nice gesture" she takes it to a local car wash and has it washed. Well she didn't know that brushes scratch the paint and now I have four 3/4 inch scratches on my driver side door. Just clear-coat scratches.....and I also have a nice swirl that you can barely see on the front fender.
My question is about how to remove them or "fill" them in. I got some rubbing compound from one of my friends at Maaco but he didn't give me much info on how to apply this stuff.
Its just this beige gritty stuff in a little bottle.......no directions. So any help on application of this stuff would be helpful....like what type of cloth to use, how hard to rub it in, how long to let it set.
Thanks,
Ron
