    Question Should I Go 3.90 Or 3.73?

    Im In The Process Of Putting An Eaton And Gears In My 08.it Is Magnacharged,but Im Debating To Go 3.73 Like The Gibbs Trucks or 3.90?i Want To Get The Most Out Of It For The 1/4.

    What Do You Guys Think?one Thing For Sure,these Limited Slip 3.23s Got To Go

    mods:2004 sierra ext sb,20s ,big brake kit w,hawk pads,air bagged,2006 6.0 lq4 swap,vortec supercharged10psi, air to water intercooled w/ dual electric fans on it ,snow meth injection kit,60lbers, e-fans ,big radiator swap ,cam 218 /222 548/550 comp .hardened prs .1.85 comp roller rockers ,guideplates ,crane double springs,trans 4l65e built .pacesetter l/ts true duals w/x pipe and magnaflows,14 bolt rearend swap ,3.73s,aroemotive fuel pump system w/elec.fuel controller and bypass regulator a/n fittings, taylor 10.5s interceptor gauge,aem w/b a/f ,autometer boost/vac NELSON 93 OCTANE TUNED .

    I would go 4.10's on 28 inch slicks for the 1/4. Or you could do 3.73's on 26 inch slicks. I have used both of the above with nice results. I do not have any experiance with 3.90's though so maybe someone that has ran them will chime in.

    go to 4.10s. ive got em and like them. we've installed several sets at the shop with no negative feedback.
    2005 crew cab, new crate lq9 with comp 212/218, 558/563 on 115 cam, 80mm t.b. coated long tubes, off road y, flowmaster cat back, dynomax bullet, ngk plugs, msd wires, k&n cold air kit, 4.10 gears, auburn pro lsd, transgo shift kit, nelson drive tune, trailblazer i-6 torque convertor, anzo lamps, ss front bumper, z71 tahoe rear bumper, debadged, kenwood touchscreen with headrest monitors, JL components, coaxials, sub, 5ch amp. bell tech 2/4 drop. 22x10 ss wheels with 285/35/22 bfgs.

    Why Do People Say Not To Go That High In Gearing With Forced Induction?? Thats Why I Was Debating Towards The 3.90s.

    ive got 4.10s with f/i and my truck seems to like ot .i have a centrifical charger and it could use em down low were i have like turbo lag.thats were i see the most improvement.

    actually if im not mistaken most of the ss trucks have 410s from the factory.and theyres alot of them with f/i putting down some numbers.i think youll be fine.but i think farmtruc had issues with 410s with his turbo setup ,he went back to a higher gear.

    It's not higher gear it's lower....just a higher number.

    I'd say 4.30's or 4.56's but I like a lot of sidewall (IE 30").
