I can assure you it will make a difference even if you haven't done any mods. You have a couple of options as to which route to go. You can get a Wheatley tune since he is located in Houston or get a Nelson tune who is located in San Antonio. I'm a little bias since I've had great success with Nelson but can't say anything about Wheatley since I've never deal with him. Cost will run you around $350 for Nelson which comes with free tunes for the life of the truck.

Make the trip to San Antonio. My two cents. You have one of the most experienced tuners just a couple of hours away. Make the trip.

How much do ya'll think it would run if I were to get a tune? All it has are stock electric fans?

What year? If it had efans to start with the tune doesn't matter. If it's a retro fit it matters 'cause the tuner needs to enable the pinout to make the fan work (along with a Nelson harness) by temperature.

+1 on the Nelson tune...but I'm biased also. I've had nothing but good luck with them and the service has been great. They also do mail-order tunes if you don't want to make the trip...nelsonperformance.com. I can't say anything about Wheatley since I've never dealt with them.
