Man what a turn out!!! It was great! Thanks again to Joe for giving me a couple of tickets. Me, Joe and my father-in-law raced. We all got to the third round.

Believe it or not, i got to the 5th round and finally lost to a 9sec bike, oh well.
My goal was to make him break out and that's what i accomplished, hahaha, I knew when he wasn't next to me at 3/4 way down the track I had him, haha. Anyway, I dialed in a at a 14.0 (i know) and ran a 13.5, damn i did think i was going that fast, but i made him break out too, but not as much as I did, doh.

The event turned out far better than last year, it was a perfect day as well. I could tell because even though i jammed on the brakes about 50feet before the line and still ran a 13.5, i knew the truck was running badass.

that was my weekend, how did everyone elses weekend turn out?

btw, we saw a black SS truck there, he didn't run, just wondering if he visits the site.

farmtruc, you know you run about 13.3 without juice, why would you dial in a 14.0 ... and run a 13.5? Hello.

I needed slicks! I don't know if they would have helped though. I ran right after an 02 mustang that drove through the water box and carried a bunch of it with him to the line. The guy tried mopping , but it was now use. I took off and spun, let out got back in it and spun more. It was already over buy the sixty ft. The guy I was running dialed a 12.4 in and was next to me at the 60'.

    LMAO!!
I just flashed my pcm and didn't really have time to tune it, btw, i just have a mail order tune on a 02 GMC truck with some teaks and it worked out well.
So, that's why i didn't try to run it hard.

The first 4-5 races i raced slower trucks , so it was no problem catching them, i think i pissed some of them off, lol. I'd catch them by mid track and then just stay next to them, hahahah, at the last moment i'd goose it, ran a 14.1/14.0 everytime hahaha.

I'm going to get a larger soleniod and nozzle for my nos kit, i'll spray a true 150 shot pretty soon, maybe some 11's are possible.

    Sandbagger ....

Sounds like you done good though. I need to learn how to bracket race better ... maybe next time I won't miss my mark by half a second. I think me being more consistant (the fat vacuum leak) would have helped the most though.
