    FS: 2001 RCSB Silverado 5.3 Auto 2wd

    2001 RCSB Silverado 2wd
122,7xx miles (appx 36k miles on the engine)
    5.3l Automatic

$6000 obo - need to sell this fairly quickly so don't be scared to make an offer if your serious about buying.

    REGISTRATION GOOD UNTIL 5/2009
    STATE INSPECTION GOOD UNTIL 7/2009

Original owner, I've owned this truck since it was new (was a demo with 2k miles when i got it).

    ENGINE:
-Started out life as a 4.3l V6 until I performed the engine swap to the 5.3l V8 last June. The 5.3l is from a 2004 and had 24,xxx miles on it when I installed it. I've driven it about 12k miles since the swap so the new engine only has about 36k miles on it.
    -Oil changed every 3k miles.
-Converted the truck to Drive by Wire w/ DBW pedal and module.
    -Cold A/C
-Charlie Wheatley Tune, 87/91 tuned for WOT.
    -Electric fan.
-VOLANT cold air intake (may be taking this off and putting it on my new Tahoe)
-Oil pressure gauge doesn't work. Needs to have a pre 2003 1-wire oil pressure sensor installed for it to work properly.

    TRANSMISSION:
    -Stock 4l60e
    -Stock V6 rear end
-Fluid and filter changed when the swap was done at 110,000.
-Runs strong and does not have any problems with shifting or slipping

    EXTERIOR:
-Few dents and dings that you can see in the picture.
-Paint is in great condition and has always been washed and waxed religiously.
-Fresh wash, clay bar, and wax job
-Tahoe all-chrome grille with billet grille insert
    -De-badged
-Tailgate handle plastic clip is broken on the release rod.
-Tires have about 50% remaining tread

    INTERIOR:
    -Charcoal Interior
    -Vinyl floor
    -Full center console
-Bezel surround is sanded and needs to be repainted.
-Seats are in good shape and have just been shampooed.
-Converted to power windows and power door locks using factory door panels, harnesses, and switches.
-Door panels are from an up-level silverado that have the buttons for mirror adjustment, heated/memory seats, etc. These things are wired up to the a-pillars but will need to be connected to power/ground if you install the heated seats/mirrors/ect.

    The bad:
-Check engine light is on - fault for evap canister purge regulator valve. (you can get this turned off by any tuner)
-Windshield has a horizontal crack just below where the state inspection sticker goes. Does not obstruct the drivers view. If this is an issue to the buyer I can have the windshield replaced before the new owner takes it.

    Reason for selling:
Found out my wife is pregnant and a single cab truck isn't going to cut it anymore so we bought a 2005 Tahoe for the extra room. I'm driving the Tahoe now so I have no reason to keep this truck anymore.

Overall the truck is in great condition for the miles. I have babied this thing since I have owned it and have never abused it or raced it. I would say it is 100% reliable and I drove it about 60 miles round-trip to work since the swap was done.

Truck is located in northern part of Fort Worth in the 76137 zip code: 76137 - Google Maps
